With over 16 years experience treating private patients and elite athletes, Niall prides himself on providing a friendly, relaxed environment for his patients. Determined to deliver the highest level of care, he decided to establish his own practice opening The Physiotherapy Place in 2017.
Niall gained a first class Masters degree in Sport Science and Physiology from the University of Glasgow before going on to complete a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of East Anglia. He has since worked in the NHS, for Hearts FC, and in British Columbia, Canada where he underwent extensive post-graduate training in manual and manipulative therapy and Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation. Niall lives locally with his wife and three daughters and enjoys staying active, travel and getting into the great outdoors whenever he can.

Sean is an enthusiastic and dedicated physiotherapist with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. He holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Strength and Conditioning, giving him an excellent foundation in both rehabilitation science and performance-based therapy.
He has gained extensive hands-on experience across clinical, sport and community environments, working with a wide range of patients — from those recovering from musculoskeletal and sports injuries, to individuals needing post-operative rehabilitation or support managing long-term conditions.
Sean is passionate about empowering people to take an active role in their recovery. He focuses on creating a positive, supportive environment and uses a blend of manual therapy, dry needling, targeted exercise prescription and clear patient education to help every individual achieve their best possible outcome.
Outside of work at The Physiotherapy Place, Sean is the lead physio for Stewarts Melville rugby team. In his remaining spare time, he enjoys hiking, photography, catching up with friends over coffee, going to the gym, and heading out on his bike.

Kerry qualified in 2017, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. She has since worked within private physiotherapy clinics developing her skills in hands-on musculoskeletal physio. She’s had a lifelong passion for sport, which has led to a clinical interest in sports injuries and how to rehabilitate people back to the activities they love. Originally from Belfast, he has worked in Scotland for the MS Society, Hearts FC, long term conditions and has extensive experience in private practice. Rod joined The Physiotherapy Place team in 2024. He is an experienced massage therapist who has worked with various sports people and athletes. He is also studying towards a degree in Sports Injury Rehabilitation, so his knowledge of the human body is second to none.
